Struggle for Survival

There used to be written on the walls of Ojhri Camp: Annihilate the Enemy before he Wipes You out. As against this I am told that there are no permanent friends and no permanent foes. Yesterday I received a message: Give enemy all chances to be your friend but don't give friend a single chance to be your enemy. Who is this enemy after all?

In my opinion the enemy lies within. Why should one make an enemy and destroy his own peace of mind? Thinking always of destroying his enemy and burn mid night oil in planning to cut off enemy's throat. An honest fellow, who as has already been said, befriends others for the sake of Allah and takes one to be enemy for the sake of Allah. Now Allah wants peace and harmony on earth and at the same time He sent down both Insan and Shaitan to live together. It is therefore great test for us to obey Allah and despise Shaitan to have peace and harmony between all people.

We the people do not belong to a region. We do not belong to earth. We belong to a place where we have to live for ever after leaving our present shell what we name body. We know that in the words of Razi, we have a beginning but we shall have no end. We were there even before first man took his first breath and we shall be there for ever.

The span of time that we term life is but a short period of time. We lived much before the Universe came into being by a word. An earth was created as an abode for us. But we are not alone. There are many species that crawl, fly, swim and walk on twos, fours and more legs. These are made of cells, some waste away their energy in a fraction of time, some take some time but not all time on this earth. The only specie that will be formed of the cells that will never die, but their composition will be based upon the thoughts and actions they took while they live in a body on earth, will live ever after, to enjoy good and suffer the evil they did, for ever.

Then why waste time in thinking bad and acting bad; and making this life miserable and eternal life unbearable. That also by fighting with one of our own kind. And that also on the whims of our enemy against the Will of Allah. Think therefore my fellow wayfarers that individual survival has no meaning. Save Humanity to Save Yourselves.
